i posted here a little while back (regarding managing one's gall stones) and since then i've seen a surgeon and scheduled a day for surgery (only 5 weeks - i thought that was pretty quick!) i haven't had an attack since January, but my surgeon seems to think i should have it out while i'm young. it's not going to get better, that's for sure. i'm a little nervous about the whole thing (not the surgery so much, as what it'll be like afterwards) but everyone i talk to seems to think it's a good idea.
i also wanted to say 'thanks' to everyone who replied to my last post. good to hear other people's points of view.
